Ally Joins NADA Foundation to Fight Hunger in New Orleans

Giving back is in Ally’s DNA, and what better time to support local communities than during one of our favorite events of the year, the National Automobile Dealer Association (NADA) Convention.

With the convention taking place in New Orleans this year, we set our sights on a local community charity. Partnering with NADA Charitable Foundation, we were honored to donate $25,000 each, providing the Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana with $50,000 to support their cause. The Second Harvest Food Bank works to provide food access, advocacy, education and disaster response in South Louisiana. The $50,000 donation to Second Harvest Food Bank will provide 140,000 meals to families in need

“Ally is honored to join with NADA to support the Second Harvest Food Bank and aid in the fight against hunger in the New Orleans community,” said Tim Russi, president of Auto Finance for Ally Financial. “This donation is just one way of demonstrating the auto industry’s commitment to giving back and building stronger communities.”

We encourage you to join us in fighting hunger and donate to a local food bank in your area- any donation helps. Not sure where to look? Feeding America has a great Food Bank Locator: http://feedingamerica.org/foodbank-results.aspx

Hi all – I have a straight-up HTML website that I’d like to transition to Joomla. If possible, I’d like to install Joomla into a subfolder and create and test the site there, while keeping the existing site functioning until I’m ready to move it over. Is this possible?. . Thanks!.
