Tuesday, July 23 – Live TweetChat: The True Value of Giving Back

Once you’ve managed to save enough money to afford the life you want, you can experience true wealth by donating your money – and even your time – to those less fortunate than you. And as we discussed with AARP’s Meg Guroff, there’s no shortage of ways to give back during the summer (or any other time, for that matter).

Building off our Summer Well Spent series, this month’s Ally Bank TweetChat, Summer from the Heart: The True Value of Giving Back, will discuss the most rewarding ways to integrate charitable giving and volunteering into your financial plan. Plus, RSVP below and you might win one of two $100 Amazon gift cards!

I’ll be attending as @DLFreedman. Totally agree with the premise; even when I was broke I budgeted for donations. This gets you out of your own head because it’s a reminder of how much you actually *do* have.
